The community came together at AFC Portchester on Friday evening for the club’s annual bonfire and fireworks display.
The event was a sell out in terms of ticket sales once again and around 700 people enjoyed the display, which lit up the night sky.
Numbers were down slightly on normal attendances due to the wet weather but that didn’t stop those who were there from enjoying the event.
A club spokesman said: “Our event continues to be popular with families in Portchester as it allows them to enjoy a traditional-style fireworks display in a safe environment.
“The event is popular particularly with families with young children and there were plenty of smiling faces at the Crest Finance Stadium on Friday night.
“It was a shame about the weather conditions as it kept some of our ticket holders away but those who were there had a great time and it was great to see our community coming together for this event once again.
“Those who were there were treated to a fantastic fireworks display and a huge bonfire.
“A big thank you to all of our volunteers and workers on the night who worked hard to ensure visitors had a safe and enjoyable evening.”
