AFC Portchester enjoyed plenty of ups and endured plenty of downs during their travels in 2019.
The Royals won more away games than they lost during the calendar year of 2019 - largely thanks to winning their last four league away games in a row.
Their overall record in the last 12 months from 29 games on the road saw Portchester win 12 games, draw six and lose 11 in all competitions.
Their league record in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division over that period was nine wins, six draws and six defeats.
In total they have scored 49 goals away from home during 2019 and conceded 56.
They started the year with a 4-1 win at Andover New Street on January 5 and the 2018-19 season brought further successes at Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Brockenhurst.
The 2019-20 league season brought the more memorable away wins, including the perfect 3-0 performance at AFC Stoneham, a stunning 4-3 fightback victory at Lymington Town and the 3-1 derby win at Fareham Town.
Heavy defeats in the 2018-19 campaign saw thrashings at Horndean (6-0) and Lymington Town (5-0). Defeat during the current season was only experienced at Portland and Alresford.
In cup competitions, the Royals’ record for 2019 was three wins and five defeats, with 13 goals scored and 18 conceded.
The victories all came in the FA Vase at New Milton Town, Hythe and Dibden and Cullompton.
