The Crest Finance Stadium hasn’t quite been the fortress AFC Portchester needed it to be during 2019.

The Royals enjoyed 11 home wins in all competitions over the last 12 months but they also suffered nine defeats and two draws.

The club’s home record was hit by their poor form in the second half of the 2018-19 campaign, which saw them lose five out of the eight league games they played.

The Royals’ record so far this season makes for much better reading - nine wins, one draw and four defeats in all competitions.

Portchester’s 2019-20 home record in the league makes for pleasing reading too - six wins and three defeats in the nine games they have hosted.

Cowes Sports, Fareham Town and Alresford Town were the teams to leave with all three points.

The biggest home win of 2019 was the 6-1 thrashing of Bournemouth, followed by the 5-2 victory over Solent University.

The biggest home defeat of the year was the 4-1 loss to Christchurch, followed by a 4-2 loss at the hands of Bournemouth.

Goals have not been in short supply at the Crest Finance Stadium with a total of 84 scored in 22 games - 48 for and 36 against.
