AFC Portchester are launching a supporters club ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Royals fans earned widespread praise for their noisy, passionate backing of the club during the last campaign.
Now the club and its supporters are joining forces to help launch the new official fans group - which will be called ‘The Arancione’.
The name for the new group is based on the Italian word for orange.
Those who sign up to join the new supporters club will receive a whole host of benefits, including a welcome pack, free burger and drink to celebrate their birthday and exclusive supporters club events, as well as discounts at the bar and for general club events too.
Lewis Millington, lead representative of The Arancione, said: “We are delighted to announce that a AFC Portchester official supporters club, called 'The Arancione', is to be set up in preparation for the 2020-21 season.
“Our aim is to create and spread passion through out our community for our local football team and ultimately create an unparalleled environment of positive support at this level of football.
“We will be looking to create social events to bring the different sections of the club and the Royals’ supporters base together, as well as establishing new fans and a united supporters base on the terrace to get behind our teams. “With the club itself being at the heart of the Portchester community, we will strive to work in unison with this to build on the fantastic work the club is doing for our local community.”
The group are proposing to charge a minimum of £3 a month as a subscription fee to become a member. A special section of The Arancione will be set up for members aged under-18 too.
There will be a welcome pack upon joining, which will include membership card, fans group badge, terrace stickers and a newsletter, which will be published regularly.
Members will receive a free burger and soft drink or alcoholic drink for their birthday, as well as a ten per cent discount at the bar by showing their membership card.
Fans forum events will also be held regularly, offering the chance to meet management, players and the committee, and other social events will be held throughout the year.
