Chairman's Notes

After a really disappointing result on Saturday against the early league leaders Blackfield & Langley, we have an opportunity to redeem ourselves tonight and kick start our season.

I would like to wish a speedy recovery to both Tony Easter & Gary Moody who have picked up what we think could be long term injuries. Tony unfortunately broke his foot in the FA Cup game against tonight's opponents after coming on as a substitute a week ago, and Gary Moody has internal damage to his thigh picked up on the opening game of the season against Horndean. I must stress that both incidents were NOT picked up via a malicious challenge, just the unfortunate side of a contact sport.

A note for your diary is this Saturday - we are back in FA Cup action against Mangotsfield, who are a level higher. It will be a tough one but we will certainly be focused and not be put off by their higher status.

Tonight we welcome the players, committee and supporters of Fawley. We all know of the importance of getting a result tonight, I am sure the lads have the quality and confidence within to set out from the KO and show us what can be achieved.

Enjoy the game
