The celebrations continued at AFC Portchester with the End of Season Awards Presentation Evening.
The clubhouse at The OnSite Group Stadium was packed as the player awards for both the men’s and ladies first teams for the 2024-25 campaign were handed out.
Club officials, coaching staff, players, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, friends and family gathered to make the event another night to remember in what has been an unforgettable season.
There was a clear winner of the golden boot prize for the men’s team, with Ryan Pennery top goalscorer on 42 goals for the campaign so far. Millie Bradbury won the top goalscorer prize for the ladies team with 16 goals in 2024-25.
Bradbury was also the winner of the Young Player of the Year award for the ladies team, with Harry Willis-Chambers the winner of the same prize for the men’s team.
There were tough choices to be made to pick the winners of the other men’s team trophies, such were the numerous vital performances throughout a campaign which has so far netted three trophies and promotion.
The Manager’s Player of the Year Award went to midfielder Ryan Wilkins, with the Players’ Player of the Year prize going to Kane O’Keefe.
For the ladies team, the Manager’s Player of the Year award went to Gemma Hillier and Lena Stroem was the winner of the Players’ Player of the Year Award.
Hillier was another double award winner for the ladies team as she was the fans’ pick for their Player of the Year award for the ladies team.
The Arancione supporters group also presented their Player of the Year award for the men’s team and their winner for 2024-25 was defender Archie Willcox.
A number of well deserved gifts were also handed out to club staff, volunteers and the coaching team for their hard work throughout the season before the celebrations continued into the night.
