The weather couldn’t dampen the spirits at AFC Portchester’s annual family fireworks display and laser light show.
The biggest non-football event of the year at The OnSite Group Stadium once again saw the crowds pack into the venue, with the various indoor and under cover facilities being put to good use as people dodged the showers.
The firework and laser lights display was no damp squib though – the traditional fireworks with a modern twist didn’t disappoint those who braved the mild but sometimes damp weather conditions on Hallowe’en night.
The spook room was back again after its introduction to the event for the first time last year and there were plenty of additional scary things to endure for those who dared to take on the walk through the room.
Facepainting was also available for the younger visitors and there was plenty of food and drink options for people of all ages to enjoy across the stadium.
It may have been a typical British autumn evening on the weather front but the lights and fireworks brought plenty of light to the night sky and plenty of smiles on the faces of those in attendance.
